Welcome to Advanced Motorcycle Training .Com
| I
started advanced training in 1981 with a local training group, and in 1990 I
reorganised the advanced motorcycle section of the Group.
In 2002 I formed my own Advanced Motorcycle Training Consultancy
|
|
| In 1998 I
started using Bike to Bike intercoms which have been kindly donated by
local businesses. These
intercoms allow the Assessor to tell you how your riding is at an
instant and whilst it is fresh in your mind. In 2002 I
improved the intercom systems and now have well proven Autocom and Nady
units for use. The Autocom can now be connected to the Sony video
system, proving instant commentary, straight to digital video tape. After
another successful season Advanced Motorcycle Training .Com will be offering a greater
variety of courses in 2005: PERFORMANCE 10 SESSION ONE DAY PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT ADVANCED REFRESHER COURSES 2, 3 or 4 DAY COURSES WITH ACCOMMODATION ONE TO ONE ASSESSMENTS GROUP RIDING FOR CLUBS

All Advanced Motorcycle Training .Com courses are one to one at all times, but if you want to do a course with a friend additional Assessors who are very experienced riders and are trained to Police Advanced standards are provided.
All
the courses have been designed to identify any bad habits picked up during your
motorcycling and to develop your riding skills.
To be truthful you can not learn Advanced riding overnight, but you can
pick up some tips and advice that you can build upon.
Over
the years I have found that the following areas are where the skills will be
developed most :-
CORNERING POSITIONING
OBSERVATION CONFIDENCE
SAFETY
Our courses are not about going as fast as you can. You will sometimes feel this is happening, but you will find you will develop a smoother progressive and more constant type of riding. This often feels a lot faster than before. Every rider has his or her limits and on all courses they will not be exceeded.
You
will ride within your own limits under the expert guidance of an Assessor at all
times.
